My America First economic view focuses on strengthening domestic industries, prioritizing U.S. jobs, and using trade policies like tariffs to counter unfair foreign competition, aiming to bring manufacturing back to the U.S. and ensure national economic security by making American workers and businesses more competitive.
We see inflation as the result of America’s dependence on foreign imports, high energy costs, and reckless government spending. The solution is to restore energy independence by expanding U.S. oil, natural gas, and coal production, rebuild domestic manufacturing and supply chains, cut wasteful federal spending, and use fair trade and tariffs to protect American jobs. Supporting U.S. workers through vocational training, enforcing immigration laws to protect wages, and strengthening farmers and food security are central. In short, the path forward is making America self-reliant again and always putting American workers, families, and businesses first.
Trump appointee Michael Whatley has failed to build back Western North Carolina . I will work tirelessly to obtain all necessary funding to complete all reconstruction needed in a timely fashion. We cannot allow the horrendous conditions affecting the residents living in Western North Carolina to continue. It negatively affects all residents of our state and harms our economy.
As former law enforcement officer, I stand firmly with restoring law and order in the cities of N.C.
I will make it a priority, while demanding accountability and protecting our communities. I will work to fund all branches of law enforcement , not to defund them.
